Portuguese Atlantic Coast (from Caminha-Viana do Castelo to the Cape of Sagres)

Set o six hd videos in a totality of 54h (integral version) or 7h (abridged version); set of 80 slides; c-print photograph.

From September 25th to October 5th 2007 a Dufour 34 sailling trip, with a five-man team, was made along the entire Portuguese atlantic coast, from Caminha-Viana do Castelo to the Cape of Sagres.

Throughout the voyage the totality of the Portuguese Atlantic coast was registered on video, in a total document of 54 hours of lenght. An abridged version of the document exists also, as well as a set of 80 slides.

The six videos correspnd to the six days of voyage. The video documentation is shown in a six day loop, corresponding each daily projection to a days voyage/ video. A calendar of screenings is placed in the exhibition space.

The voyage itself was not documented, except for a final photographic detail: Atlantic as seen from the Cape of Sagres (October, 5, 2007).
